I live in the west midlands in the UK, and found a love of shelties having had dogs all my life. I shared a love affair for shelties with a good many other ppl but didn't start showing for a good many years,My first sheltie was a sable and white who I had 2 litters from I kept the smallest but never bred from her as she was only 11 inches and such a loving little girl, I then brought 2 tri-colour sisters, one I bought outright the other was on breeding terms,
I had to get Misty Mated (the one on breeding terms) to a blue merle dog and at the time I didn't care for blues, but because the dog had brown eyes it was love at first sight, the deed was done and the resulting litter were 2 tri's a dog and a bitch, by the time the breeder came to pick up her puppy I'd already done the same mating with the litter sister (ebony)............. Ebony produce 4 puppies 3 blues and a tri bitch...... the blues were 2 dogs which went to a home together and the blue bitch went back to Ebony's breeder as a wedding present........ Vonstry Wedding Belle......... and as ppl will know she produced the lovely Rosa Bleu who holds our breed record for winning the most challenge certificates
I continue to strive for the good of the breed .. breeding to type......
